The testing farm for organic cultivation "Wiesengut” was provided by the agricultural faculty of the Bonn University in 1985. Since, the farm has been consistently adapted for organic cultivations, and according to the organizational principle of agriculture.
The farm has been assigned in 1991 to the Institue for organic agriculture (IOL). He is a member of the Anbauverband association "Naturland" " and the learning and research focus "environment-safe and well located agriculture" (USL) of the agriculture faculty of the Bonn University was integrated as the projekt area Wiesengut.

This Institute of Organic Agriculture shows the way to harmonize natural resources, biodiversity and mixed farming in a manner that high productivity and high quality of output can be maintained in perpetuity. By integrating animals, birds and plants into an integrated web of life, this Institute stands as the flagship of the sustainable agriculture movement.
